United Kingdom (UK) based digital artist “Kyle Lamebert” created some amazing paintings and illustrations for various media like television, film, advertising and print media. He created many realistic iPad paintings using premium apps from Apple.
His recent digital painting on Morgan Freeman with reference to original photography by Scott Gries took viral on many design blog like us. He created high-resolution(4k) paintings using his iPad and index finger with more than 200 hours adding 285,000 brush strokes – the final output came very close to original digital photography.
We researched in some sites where comments are against his artwork saying its fake. Kindly watch his other videos before mocking any talented artist. One from Mac-world 2011 and other one from his YouTube channel where he used other apps to create paintings during 2010.

iPad Air Digital Paintings using Procreate
How he created the amazing finger-paintings using iPad Air and Procreate:
I started with a blank white screen and began capturing Morgan Freeman’s likeness, quickly painting the broad strokes with my finger. I then reduced the brush size to a few pixels, pinched to zoom and carefully painted in the fine detail.
Inspiration for him to create more work like these : One of the big reasons I decided to do this painting was to inspire other budding artists to embrace digital art. A friend of mine who is a school teacher explained to me recently that whenever he plays one of my painting videos in class, his students become noticeably more engaged and excited about creating art.
