The pixel art is created and edited on based upon pixel level using raster image software and if you are from 80’s, you know about the games and old consoles which used pixel based characters. In modern gaming industry the pixel art has their own standards and reputation. Over all fans for them are keeping them so popular. Not like latest CG animated movies or video games. I have played few games. Apart from technological aspects, Artist and character designers make fan art or various branding for mobile games – Minicraft is most popular for pixel art lovers.

The term pixel art was first published by Adele Goldberg and Robert Flegal of Xerox Palo Alto Research Center in 1982. The concept, however, goes back about 10 years before that, for example in Richard Shoup’s SuperPaint system in 1972, also at Xerox PARC.
